Turkmen higher educational establishments will become the international platform for “Lomonosov-2026” forum
In the Epoch of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, the development of the international scientific and educational cooperation is an important direction of the state policy of Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan. Another bright evidence of this will be the participation of the higher educational establishments of our country in the “Lomonosov–2026” International Youth Scientific Forum organized by M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, one of the oldest and most authoritative classical universities of the world and a recognized center for the development of fundamental science and education.
On April 10 – 25, 2026, the XXXIII “Lomonosov” International Scientific Conference of Students, graduate students, and Young Scientists will be held at M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University as a part of the forum. The work of the conference will be carried out not only in Moscow but also on the international platforms of the partner universities. In Turkmenistan, the international conference will be organized in Ashgabat at Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
While last year, Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages hosted two workshops, then, this year, the international platform has been expanded: the work has been now distributed between two higher educational establishments covering four scientific directions.
Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages is an organization responsible for the directions “Foreign Languages and Region Studies”, “Theory, History and Methodology of Translation” and “Philology”. Magtymguly Turkmen State University is in charge of “Chemistry”
Students, postgraduates, graduate students, as well as young scientists under the age of 35, are invited for participation. The participants are to be registered on the “Lomonosov” scientific and educational portal until April 6, 2026. The working languages of the conference are Russian and English. Participation is free of charge. By the results of the work of the forum, participants will receive certificates, and the authors of the best research papers will be awarded diplomas.
The hosting of the conference in Turkmenistan acquires a particular significance in 2026 declared as a year “Independent Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of the Purposeful Winged Horses.” This event is steadily becoming a good tradition of the academic cooperation between Turkmen higher educational establishments and M.V.
