Theme of the 1st Round Essay: “From Learning to Action”
The theme “From Learning to Action” invites students to reflect on how the knowledge, skills, and values they acquire through education can be transformed into practical actions that make a positive difference. We want to hear about your ideas, initiatives, and personal contributions – whether in your school, community, or society – that demonstrate the role of youth in shaping a better future. Participants are encouraged to think creatively and express their own perspectives while connecting learning with tangible impact.
Requirements for the English Essay Written in the 1st Round
- Each participant must write an essay in English on the given topic.
- The essay must be written independently by the participant.
- The essay must not have been previously published or copied from any source. The use of artificial intelligence tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, GPTalk, etc.) is strictly prohibited. If materials from other authors are used, they must be properly cited.
- The length of the essay must be not less than 400 words and not more than 500 words (the title is not included in the word count).
- The essay must be typed in Times New Roman, 14-point font, justified, and saved in .doc or .docx format. PDF files, images, screenshots, or text pasted directly into the body of an email will not be accepted.
- The file name must follow the format of the participant’s registration number and surname (e.g., 26001_Amanov).
- Participants are given 180 minutes (3 hours) to write the essay and submit it to the Organizing Committee.
- The essay will be evaluated based on:
- Content - depth of ideas and originality;
- Logical coherence and structure - clarity and organization of arguments;
- Compliance with rules of written literary English - grammar, vocabulary, and style.
- The essay must be sent to the Organizing Committee by 17:00 on February 18, 2026, to the following e-mail address: inlismekdepolimpiada@gmail.com.
- Essays submitted after the specified deadline or not meeting the stated requirements will not be accepted for the competition.
